About Our Brands

There are so many brands and styles, you may wonder why we carry specific brands. There are several key factors in why we buy and sell the brands we do.

1. We value consistency.

We feature brands that, for the most part, have proven themselves consistently in quality, customer satisfaction and style. We like to associate ourselves with winners.

2. We know what brands resonate with Austin parents.

We have the largest selection of Austin favorites, like KEEN, Pediped, Se Kai Run, Tsukihoshi, and Geox. These brands have displaced other better known brands, and Austinites have led the way in making these brands favorites across the nation.

3. We take chances.

Few people ever heard of Tsukihoshi, and we bought them in a big way. Sandy’s is the largest single store dealer of Tsukihoshi in the United States! We have recently introduced Simple brand shoes for kids, and Simple is growing into an Austin favorite.

Now we are excited about bringing in shoes for Women! We will be concentrating on proven Austin favorites, like KEEN, Teva, Merrell and adding a few surprises such as Yellow Box, Olakai, and Fit Flops.

4. Retailers come and go here in Austin.

Some folks open stores because they want specific products for their kids, only to close down when the kids grow out of their stores. Sandy’s has been serving Austin families for over 30 years, and we have grown every year because we listen to you! We buy what our customers want.
